Nick Jordan
M.Ost, FAFS
Senior and Functional Osteopath
A Fellow of Applied Function Science (FAFS) and a movement specialist who has completed a mentorship with the prestigious Gray Institute in the USA.
Nick graduated with a master’s degree in osteopathy from the University of Surrey. He discovered a keen interest in the wellbeing of the human body and his passion for helping people to have a pain free, healthy life.
He also qualified as a sports and remedial massage therapist at the London School of Sports Massage in 2013. This gave him a greater understanding of the injuries sustained from sport and in general daily life.
Nick is able to use his knowledge and understanding of the human body and more importantly, how it moves, to help people achieve their personal best.
Nick has worked alongside the physiotherapist at Crawley Town Football Club where he has treated players before and after matches and experienced first-hand how to get injured players back to match fitness.
He has a broad understanding of injuries sustained from many sports and is able to help athletes achieve their personal best. For example, he is currently working with the European Tour golf players, demonstrating how osteopathy, sports and remedial massage and medical acupuncture can improve their game in specific ways.
In 2018 Nick became a Fellow of Applied Function Science after completing his 10-month fellowship with the prestigious Gray Institute of Applied Functional Science in Michigan. This has given Nick even more insight to the human biomechanics and how the body really moves when we are in upright function.
Nick is a keen sportsman (who completed an Olympic distance triathlon in 2017) and has been an avid golfer since the age of 15 receiving a scholarship to an American college.
Over the last few months Nick has taken a real interest in road cycling and is looking forward to getting out on the roads with friends on the weekends - Nick is also looking to join a triathlon club and compete in many events next year, and is looking forward to where this may take him.
