Tim Higginson

Associate Osteopath

Tim graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy in London and is a certified Sports Massage Therapist. It was his interest in the functioning of the human body and how manual therapy can be employed to improve patients’ quality of life that led him to pursue a career in osteopathy.

A lover of all sports, Tim excelled particularly in swimming reaching a national level by the age of 14 and swam competitively for many years. This early love of swimming and fitness sparked a life-long interest in the human body and its application in sporting settings. This interest has since developed with a particular focus on Olympic and Power lifting and how the concepts used in weight lifting can be applied to rehabilitation.

Outside of physical activity Tim loves to spend his time preparing and cooking food for family and friends, particularly on a barbeque. His love of cooking stems from the importance he places on nutrition and its relevance to physical wellbeing. Tim is passionate about helping clients understand their own bodies better and improving their physical and mental health through manual therapy, nutrition and exercise.

If you’re a current patient of Tim’s you can book your next appointment with him online. If you’re a new patient or you haven’t been into the clinic in the last two years you’ll need to contact us to book your appointment.

Tim was able to identify all the areas that were knotted and tender and required manipulation. Feel much more mobile after 1 hour. Very nice chap too. Highly recommend.
